Triumph Toe Plates are a popular addition to traditional leather-soled footwear, extending the longevity of the shoes by protecting against wear at the toes. We remove the foremost part of the sole’s bottom layer and screw in a metal plate in its place. The toe plate is flush with both the bottom of the leather sole and with the sides of the welt. It is not seen unless looking directly at the sole.
